Ever since I met my loud squad in the form of my former workmates slash food besties, I have been able to explore my love for foreign food most especially that our office is situated along Eastwood. Anyways, these restos were some of those food establishments we have eaten. (As far as I remember) Caffe Bene Benne’s like Starbucks in Korea. Yes, it’s a Korean cafe which offers different kinds of coffee/frappes/mocktails/yoghurts/sandwiches/gelato/bingsu. Bingsu, according to Pam is a “Korean Halo Halo”. It is a dessert containing shaved ice and topped with fruits/condensed milk and syrup. In our case, Pam let us try the Oreo Bingsu. Sisig Society is one of those promising restaurants along Eastwood that offers their specialty make-your-own-sisig at an affordable price. Jossan's been a sucker forthis type of food so we tried it out soon as I learned about this. Jossan tried the Crispy Sisig. It comes with a cup of rice and is priced at PhP 149. According to him, it lacks flavor. Flavor in the sense of it's strong taste (just like what other sisig tastes like) On the other hand, I wanted to try something unique so I ordered the Sisig Pasta and it's the bomb! It was around their Snacks corner alongside with Sisig Nachos anf Tacos and I find those really appetizing. Mos of their snacks only cost PhP 99. I also tried this Eyes Scramble for PhP 59. Literall with eyes on it! Don' worry tho, it's just a candy. Hehe. Overall, I' m satisfied with Sisig Society. While Mom and I were on our way to Divisoria earlier, something funny happened. There was this guy in front of me who rode the vehicle on his earphones. After a few minutes, I found him unplugging his earphones, put it in his bag, and get his book afterwards. What caught my attention here is not just him pulling the book from his bag but the mere fact that THE BOOK WAS PLACED ON A ZIP LOCK BAG!! He really find it hard to get the book because it's in hard bound cover. Wth. Isn't it cute? =^_^= Many friends of mine knew how I really love books, so much love that I feel unsafe if it's not covered with paper/plastic cover. But this guy's apparently interesting. I felt how he took care of his book, yeah sounds weird and funny that it was on plastic cover but then, still covered in a zip lock bag. Unusual, and I liked it. I can say that my 2014 was the year that I embraced changes about myself (disregard my chubbier cheeks and bigger tummy tho, hahaha!) Anyway, this was the year that I graduated and had my first job. Using “had” because today will be my last day here in PSRC. I am just happy that I am feeling relieved. I had so many realizations during my stay here and it really helped me to gain deeper understanding on things. I always keep in mind that change is inevitable, and that change is good. I am always afraid of it in the first place. What if I lose? What if I fail? But then, I realized that moving forward is almost the same thing as moving ahead. If you really wanted to succeed in life, you should not be afraid to take risk, and accept challenges, and if you wanted a certain thing for yourself, you should work hard for it. Sometimes I feel like I am such a boring person.  I rarely make friends. I am not funny. I am not really talkative. And I am not a good conversationalist. Mini Stop has been known for their signature kariman – with various of special fillings on it inside. I admit I haven’t tried one but I finally did a while ago. :) I believe Kariman is sort of a Japanese food since the convenience store originated in Japan. Relatively, it was a cross between a meat bun and a fried sandwich, according to Sybdive  It contains fillings (whether sweet or savory) stuffed into a piece of yeast dough, sealed, dipped in egg wash, rolled in   panko , and deep-fried till the outside is golden brown and crunchy to the bite. I always find myself a sucker for cute stuff – most especially if those are unique goodies such as food that I often see online. So there’s this time that one of my girl crush  posted an M&M birthday cake flavored candy. I was like, “Seriously?! Birthday cake?!” Good thing Maxene located Khansarey Perfume Gallery on this  Instagram post. I immediately mapped the store online. So Khansarey is located at the Shangri La Mall, specifically in the 4 th floor, main wing, stall 405. This was near Toys R’ Us. You will easily find this because it was just a stall, and displays chocolate products such as various M&M’s, Mars, Kitkats etc. They even sell Tacos too! So I bought what I am eyeing for.. Many people got very excited upon hearing the news of Zarks having to open up a branch in SM North Edsa. And so do I. Maybe because this mall was considered near among people living in the North bound and that it was accessible to go to. Aside from that, many mall-goers went here. I can’t believe I found time to write a post about this one. Like, time meets time. Almost 2 weeks ago, Mom and I were able to avail the Mid-Year Mega Bonus of Manila Ocean Park. It was, however, our first time to visit the ocean-themed park since it opened 2005.  We chose the Deep Sea Rush package which costs 550 pesos inclusive of the attractions such as Oceanarium and Jellies Exhibit -- Sharks and Rays Dry Encounter, Fish Spa for 20 minutes and the amazing 15-minute Sea Lion Show! Isn’t that wonderful? Tickets First stop Just at the entrance, you will see this souvenir shop selling various Ocean Park memorabilias such as stuff toys, shirts, tumblers, and more.
