Of Kariman and Uncle John's Fried Chicken

Mini Stop has been known for their signature kariman – with various of special fillings on it inside. I admit I haven’t tried one but I finally did a while ago. :) I believe Kariman is sort of a Japanese food since the convenience store originated in Japan. Relatively, it was a cross between a meat bun and a fried sandwich, according to Sybdive  It contains fillings (whether sweet or savory) stuffed into a piece of yeast dough, sealed, dipped in egg wash, rolled in   panko , and deep-fried till the outside is golden brown and crunchy to the bite. I am dedicating this post to the burger lovers out there. Especially to ehem.. Jossan. Earlier this morning, as I was on my phone checking Facebook, my mom told me about this colored burger she watched on TV. She can't barely remember what was the name of the store but it was along Caloocan. I immediately searched it online until I discovered "Mr. Swabergers". It was featured on TV5 Morning Show this week. Watch the feature here. And so I did not make second-guesses, I invited my mom that we should give it a try. Mr. Swabergers is located along Sangan...
