Zark's SM North Edsa

Many people got very excited upon hearing the news of Zarks having to open up a branch in SM North Edsa. And so do I. Maybe because this mall was considered near among people living in the North bound and that it was accessible to go to. Aside from that, many mall-goers went here.

Relatively, I had a date with the gang last Saturday, October 18th. This was my second time to eat at Zarks, first one’s in Taft last year. (2013-11-23) Back then, this was I ordered.

Tadaa, Black Mamba!
Cheeseburger in a bed of fresh lettuce, tomato, sauteed mushroom and caramelized onions topped with their very own barbecue rum sauce (PhP 135.00)

It’s not easy to get a seat here. We arrived around 2 pm and the seats were all occupied, plus many are still waiting in the area. good thing they have reservations. You just have to tell your name to the ushers accommodating the people and how many you were. We’re 6! We almost waited for 2 hours to have a seat. 30 minutes or so, our orders already arrived.

I am eager to try one of their Major League burgers and so I got myself a Jackhammer. Stone Cold Stunner was also one of my choice.

Jackhammer
1/2 patty stuffed with mozzarella and cheddar cheese (Php 205.00)

This burger, according to them is stuffed with Mozzarella and cheddar cheese inside that’s why I feel like it had a smokey feel in my mouth.

The boys ordered a Stone Cold Stunner
It’s prettier than me :(
Double bacon cheeseburger in a bed of fresh lettuce, tomato, mushroom and caramelized onion (PhP 205.00)

Camay had a Deep-Fried Burger. (205.00, ½ pound patty) I better try it next time, the appearance made me curious
Deep Fried Burger
Deep-fried Mushroom cheeseburger with a choice of sauce on the side (1/2 patty = PhP 205.00)

I will definitely go back because of the menu. But then, wider area, please! I wish more seats will be added so that many customers won’t take too long to wait. Overall, thumbs up for the burger! Burp!

Of Kariman and Uncle John's Fried Chicken

Mini Stop has been known for their signature kariman – with various of special fillings on it inside. I admit I haven’t tried one but I finally did a while ago. :) I believe Kariman is sort of a Japanese food since the convenience store originated in Japan. Relatively, it was a cross between a meat bun and a fried sandwich, according to Sybdive  It contains fillings (whether sweet or savory) stuffed into a piece of yeast dough, sealed, dipped in egg wash, rolled in   panko , and deep-fried till the outside is golden brown and crunchy to the bite. Going back, upon buying Uncle John’s fried chicken meal for my lunch, (which for me is worth-the-buy because of the generous size of the chicken and comparing to other stores offering  the same type of meal, I believe it can be included on your choice) I decided to have Cookie Karamel Kariman since it was only ten pesos. Surprisingly, it was delicious. It tastes like cookie butter with...

How Well my 2014 Went

I can say that my 2014 was the year that I embraced changes about myself (disregard my chubbier cheeks and bigger tummy tho, hahaha!) Anyway, this was the year that I graduated and had my first job. Using “had” because today will be my last day here in PSRC. I am just happy that I am feeling relieved. I had so many realizations during my stay here and it really helped me to gain deeper understanding on things. I always keep in mind that change is inevitable, and that change is good. I am always afraid of it in the first place. What if I lose? What if I fail? But then, I realized that moving forward is almost the same thing as moving ahead. If you really wanted to succeed in life, you should not be afraid to take risk, and accept challenges, and if you wanted a certain thing for yourself, you should work hard for it. My 2014 is all about my career. I had so many questions about my job during my first three months and spent time for overthinking about the path that i chose. Is...
