Change Doesn't Happen Overnight

So Mother’s Day greetings spread throughout internet especially on social networking sites today. I can’t help but get curious of side thoughts regarding this one.

How I wish, with the way majority posted greetings for their Moms today realize that flowery words aren’t enough to show how much they care for them.

I wish those words have corresponding actions too.

I wish those words aren’t just words (just for the sake of being “in” and or being swept away with bandwagon)

I wish those words were all true.

I wish those came deep inside their hearts.

I wish showing their love and gratitude for their Mom don’t just happen on a one-day basis; or just on Mother’s Day.

Well I did not greet my Mom personally, nor gave her a hug or a kiss. I believe she “somehow” and in any way felt how much I care and love her since Wednesday is approaching near.

I can’t wait for that day to come. Like seriously.

I just want to share this conversation a while ago:

Me: Ma, gusto mo ng bulaklak?
Mama: *paused for a second* Bulaklak?
Me: Pero next year na ah, wala pa ko pera eh. Wala pa ko trabaho. *giggles*
Mama: Bulaklak, di naman nakakain yun.

Oh that’s my way.

PS: I LOVE YOU MAMA. TO THE MOON AND BACK.

Of Kariman and Uncle John's Fried Chicken

Mini Stop has been known for their signature kariman – with various of special fillings on it inside. I admit I haven’t tried one but I finally did a while ago. :) I believe Kariman is sort of a Japanese food since the convenience store originated in Japan. Relatively, it was a cross between a meat bun and a fried sandwich, according to Sybdive  It contains fillings (whether sweet or savory) stuffed into a piece of yeast dough, sealed, dipped in egg wash, rolled in   panko , and deep-fried till the outside is golden brown and crunchy to the bite. Going back, upon buying Uncle John’s fried chicken meal for my lunch, (which for me is worth-the-buy because of the generous size of the chicken and comparing to other stores offering  the same type of meal, I believe it can be included on your choice) I decided to have Cookie Karamel Kariman since it was only ten pesos. Surprisingly, it was delicious. It tastes like cookie butter with...

Welcome to Sisig Society

Sisig Society is one of those promising restaurants along Eastwood that offers their specialty make-your-own-sisig at an affordable price. Jossan's been a sucker forthis type of food so we tried it out soon as I learned about this. Jossan tried the Crispy Sisig. It comes with a cup of rice and is priced at PhP 149. According to him, it lacks flavor. Flavor in the sense of it's strong taste (just like what other sisig tastes like) On the other hand, I wanted to try something unique so I ordered the Sisig Pasta and it's the bomb! It was around their Snacks corner alongside with Sisig Nachos anf Tacos and I find those really appetizing. Mos of their snacks only cost PhP 99. I also tried this Eyes Scramble for PhP 59. Literall with eyes on it! Don' worry tho, it's just a candy. Hehe. Overall, I' m satisfied with Sisig Society. My ratings: Food - 8.5 Price - 9 Service - 10 Jossan's Ratings: Food - 6.5 Price - 7.5 Service - 8
