What Made My 2013 One of the Best

Yes, I've been inactive writing posts here in my blog. Maybe my last published article was 6 months ago? I have been very busy with school stuff that’s why even writing an experiential post made me even sluggish (because I always still choose to sleep whenever free time comes :P)

I believe I’ll make bawi with this post.

Well, I consider 2013, so far as one of the bestest years since I existed. It was the year that I bid goodbye to my teenage year. This was the year when I turned 20. This was the year who taught me how to be stronger (and somehow immature at the same time).

But before we welcome the next year, I’ll just mention the things/persons/experience that made my year a good one. These were just so random.

  • Finish thesis & defense and got good grade
  • Became closer with my family (especially with my Mom)
  • Able to go to Tagaytay
  • Went to Eastwood for the first time and took a picture with the giant fries
  • Stronger relationship with him (though we fight sometimes)
  • Able to read more books
  • Had an acoustic guitar
  • Finish OJT before Christmas break and learn most especially widen my knowledge about my course
  • Made new acquaintances through my internship
  • Got an internship salary
  • Became addicted to Once Upon A Time
  • Championship of San Mig Coffee Mixers in the Comm’s Cup
  • Ride a horse
  • Overcome my fear in riding a bus
  • Bought phone with my own money
  • Made it to be consistently in the President’s List for the previous 2 semesters
  • Learn sensible things on our Media Literacy class
  • Got a REST after an exhausting semester (priceless)
  • Able to be closer to Him (but I wish to be a far more closer)

To sum it up, 2013 has been pleasant to me. Though I cried, hurt, got sick, discovered untrue friends and went to numerous fights with Jossan; I know those happened for a reason. And I am thankful because that made me stronger. All I can say is that I AM BLESSED.

Now, I am looking forward to 2014. There are many awesome things that will happen that year. I will have my individual case study (I expect this will be a stressful one). I will learn more in Media Literacy. I’ll graduate. I will have a picture and autograph with PJ (hoping). I will be reunited with Mama. I will be a pro in playing guitar. I will have my first job. Aaaahhh. Just now, I am getting far more excited.

Of Kariman and Uncle John's Fried Chicken

Mini Stop has been known for their signature kariman – with various of special fillings on it inside. I admit I haven’t tried one but I finally did a while ago. :) I believe Kariman is sort of a Japanese food since the convenience store originated in Japan. Relatively, it was a cross between a meat bun and a fried sandwich, according to Sybdive  It contains fillings (whether sweet or savory) stuffed into a piece of yeast dough, sealed, dipped in egg wash, rolled in   panko , and deep-fried till the outside is golden brown and crunchy to the bite. Going back, upon buying Uncle John’s fried chicken meal for my lunch, (which for me is worth-the-buy because of the generous size of the chicken and comparing to other stores offering  the same type of meal, I believe it can be included on your choice) I decided to have Cookie Karamel Kariman since it was only ten pesos. Surprisingly, it was delicious. It tastes like cookie butter with...

PJ & Chalet

I am happy for PJ. He really is together with Chalet Pena, his sweetie :| =)) ♥ Literally gave me a heartbreak. </3 Photo taken at Kurosawa last June 1, 2012 (PJ's birthday)

Welcome to Sisig Society

Sisig Society is one of those promising restaurants along Eastwood that offers their specialty make-your-own-sisig at an affordable price. Jossan's been a sucker forthis type of food so we tried it out soon as I learned about this. Jossan tried the Crispy Sisig. It comes with a cup of rice and is priced at PhP 149. According to him, it lacks flavor. Flavor in the sense of it's strong taste (just like what other sisig tastes like) On the other hand, I wanted to try something unique so I ordered the Sisig Pasta and it's the bomb! It was around their Snacks corner alongside with Sisig Nachos anf Tacos and I find those really appetizing. Mos of their snacks only cost PhP 99. I also tried this Eyes Scramble for PhP 59. Literall with eyes on it! Don' worry tho, it's just a candy. Hehe. Overall, I' m satisfied with Sisig Society. My ratings: Food - 8.5 Price - 9 Service - 10 Jossan's Ratings: Food - 6.5 Price - 7.5 Service - 8
