FINALLY!!

Together with my group mates, I had a very adventurous day today. Tired & penniless yet happy & contented. ♥ :) A bunch of "Thank You's" to Ms. Beth from Resources for the Blind Inc. for spending her time with us and also, for accepting our offer. Woohhh!! Now I want to assure that she will not regret having us help for the organization. Step one down?

The gift we received. It contains The Daily Bread.

We learned about the organization history, concerns, doings, & their activities. Topping all these was the Braille alphabet! Yes, we are like children going back in pre-school. Ms. Pia (the HR in the front desk) even made us bookmarks with our names encoded in Braille! :")

I know that experience is just a start of our journey in completing our thesis requirement, we really will enjoy it. Hopefully!

I'll end this post with a quote I saw from the wall of RBI. It caught my attention

"Not being able to speak is not the same as not having anything to say."

Of Kariman and Uncle John's Fried Chicken

Mini Stop has been known for their signature kariman – with various of special fillings on it inside. I admit I haven’t tried one but I finally did a while ago. :) I believe Kariman is sort of a Japanese food since the convenience store originated in Japan. Relatively, it was a cross between a meat bun and a fried sandwich, according to Sybdive  It contains fillings (whether sweet or savory) stuffed into a piece of yeast dough, sealed, dipped in egg wash, rolled in   panko , and deep-fried till the outside is golden brown and crunchy to the bite. Going back, upon buying Uncle John’s fried chicken meal for my lunch, (which for me is worth-the-buy because of the generous size of the chicken and comparing to other stores offering  the same type of meal, I believe it can be included on your choice) I decided to have Cookie Karamel Kariman since it was only ten pesos. Surprisingly, it was delicious. It tastes like cookie butter with...

How Well my 2014 Went

I can say that my 2014 was the year that I embraced changes about myself (disregard my chubbier cheeks and bigger tummy tho, hahaha!) Anyway, this was the year that I graduated and had my first job. Using “had” because today will be my last day here in PSRC. I am just happy that I am feeling relieved. I had so many realizations during my stay here and it really helped me to gain deeper understanding on things. I always keep in mind that change is inevitable, and that change is good. I am always afraid of it in the first place. What if I lose? What if I fail? But then, I realized that moving forward is almost the same thing as moving ahead. If you really wanted to succeed in life, you should not be afraid to take risk, and accept challenges, and if you wanted a certain thing for yourself, you should work hard for it. My 2014 is all about my career. I had so many questions about my job during my first three months and spent time for overthinking about the path that i chose. Is...
