FINALLY!!

Together with my group mates, I had a very adventurous day today. Tired & penniless yet happy & contented. ♥ :) A bunch of "Thank You's" to Ms. Beth from Resources for the Blind Inc. for spending her time with us and also, for accepting our offer. Woohhh!! Now I want to assure that she will not regret having us help for the organization. Step one down?

The gift we received. It contains The Daily Bread.

We learned about the organization history, concerns, doings, & their activities. Topping all these was the Braille alphabet! Yes, we are like children going back in pre-school. Ms. Pia (the HR in the front desk) even made us bookmarks with our names encoded in Braille! :")

I know that experience is just a start of our journey in completing our thesis requirement, we really will enjoy it. Hopefully!

I'll end this post with a quote I saw from the wall of RBI. It caught my attention

"Not being able to speak is not the same as not having anything to say."

Of Kariman and Uncle John's Fried Chicken

Mini Stop has been known for their signature kariman – with various of special fillings on it inside. I admit I haven’t tried one but I finally did a while ago. :) I believe Kariman is sort of a Japanese food since the convenience store originated in Japan. Going back, upon buying Uncle John’s fried chicken meal for my lunch, (which for me is worth-the-buy because of the generous size of the chicken and comparing to other stores offering  the same type of meal, I believe it can be included on your choice) I decided to have Cookie Karamel Kariman since it was only ten pesos. Surprisingly, it was delicious. It tastes like cookie butter with...

Mr. Swabergers: Making the Burger Hype More Exciting with Fancy Colored Burgers

There is no doubt, we live in a society where instant, create-your-down and do-it-yourself seems on the verge of popularity nowadays - whether pizza, ice cream or cake it may be, burgers are undoubtedly on top of the list. One can easily recall Zarks or the Brgr Project and many more for their flagship of  create-your-own burgers. Then there's this colored burger that entered the picture. Wait, colored burgers? I am dedicating this post to the burger lovers out there. Especially to ehem.. Jossan. Earlier this morning, as I was on my phone checking Facebook, my mom told me about this colored burger she watched on TV. She can't barely remember what was the name of the store but it was along Caloocan. I immediately searched it online until I discovered "Mr. Swabergers". It was featured on TV5 Morning Show this week. Watch the feature here. And so I did not make second-guesses, I invited my mom that we should give it a try. Mr. Swabergers is located along Sangan...
