Share Your Blessings

I finally got my work pay for the first time in forever. :) That was actually yesterday. I remembered what I am planning to do during my first weeks in the office. I am constantly seeing this old man along the sidewalk of Shaw who holds a paper (I just don’t have the idea what was written on it probably him begging for financial help), in formal striped-polo and slacks, white-haired, probably in his sixties. Yes, he actually don’t look like a normal beggar (what I mean by normal is the description of the majority who is dirty, and informally weared.) Anyhow,  I actually felt the need to give because my heart always faints upon seeing old people seeking for help that way (or maybe because I grew-up with my grandparents) I really don’t have enough penny to give him. Not until yesterday when I got my salary. I promised to myself that NO MATTER how little money I have, I will still give to him. :) They say you should share your blessings on your first pay as blessings will c...

I Survived Four Years!!

Today was nine days since I graduated. That was one of the happiest and most unforgettable moment I experienced probably because of my Mom being there attended. Who would've thought I was able to graduate with flying colors? Who would've imagine I'll make it with honors? Lucky for me I didn't gave up my Laude dream. Certainly, this will not be all possible without the help and support from my Mom and grandparents. My friends were also a help as well. And to this  guy  for inspiring me. I know I will miss the student life. I will miss having sleepless nights because of the next day's quizzes, tests, projects and so on. I will definitely miss my colleagues, zoo-like college, the COCians and their loud voices, somehow, the professors I had and the PUP itself. But this doesn't just end all here. I may have graduated but the learning and experiences I gained throughout those 48 months will surely be treasured. BLESSINGS OVERL...

Change Doesn't Happen Overnight

So Mother’s Day greetings spread throughout internet especially on social networking sites today. I can’t help but get curious of side thoughts regarding this one. How I wish, with the way majority posted greetings for their Moms today realize that flowery words aren’t enough to show how much they care for them. I wish those words have corresponding actions too. I wish those words aren’t just words (just for the sake of being “in” and or being swept away with bandwagon) I wish those words were all true. I wish those came deep inside their hearts. I wish showing their love and gratitude for their Mom don’t just happen on a one-day basis; or just on Mother’s Day. Well I did not greet my Mom personally, nor gave her a hug or a kiss. I believe she “somehow” and in any way felt how much I care and love her since Wednesday is approaching near. I can’t wait for that day to come. Like seriously. I just want to share this conversation a while ago: Me: Ma, gusto mo...

Conquered Fear, Somehow

I have yet to experience Star City in my 20 years of existence not until a few days ago. Good thing a friend of mine invited me and Jossan to join her with Avi for one. Hi there Camay ! :) I am a self-proclaimed Walter Mitty; and dealing with rides is definitely not my thing EVER. Going back, attractions we have visited were the Dungeon, Gabi ng Lagim, Peter Pan and Pirate Adventure. Too bad I just closed my eyes during the entire ride. According to the Star City website, Jungle Splash was categorized as an Ext...
